Picture yourself working a full-time job with your friends and earning money… All while having fun and making memories while doing it! Working a job is a large part of your time at Kaleo and is an incredible way to apply what you’re learning in a practical way. If you are attending Kaleo, you get to work at one of many awesome jobs. Anywhere from retail to food service to hospitality!
The official Kaleo Jobs Launch will happen on Sunday, April 26th at 8:00pm (CT). You will be able to sign up for the job that you will be working at this summer! Refer to your email for more information on this process. Keep checking back as we update job information! In the days following the Kaleo Jobs Launch, you will receive an email with specific details for your employer.

Job Opportunities
OWA
Is it a water park or an amusement park?! Both! At OWA, you can lifeguard, operate park rides, and do other things around the park as you catch some rays and interact with the visitors. Oh yeah, and it’s right down the road from where we stay!

LuLu’s
A popular tourist restaurant unlike almost any other! Lulu’s is a famous and long-standing Gulf Shores destination offering jobs in the kitchen, bussing tables, retail/warehouse, and more. Between the food and the environment it might be hard to choose which you love more! Plus, you may just get to meet the restaurant's owner and namesake, Lucy "LuLu" Buffett (sister to Jimmy Buffett).

Souvenir City (GS)
Working at a souvenir shop in a beach town is about as beach-y as it gets! You’ll be across the street from the ocean selling boogie boards, beach clothes, hermit crabs and more. Whether you’re stocking shelves or running the register, you’ll get the full tourist experience!

Pay: $15/hr

McDonald’s
The Golden Arches… what more needs to be said?! Working at McDonald’s comes with a variety of roles both in the kitchen and at the register. And just think, how awesome would it be to tell your kids you worked at the most famous fast food restaurant in the world? (Three locations)

Publix
A boujee grocery store with the best sandwiches (“Pub Subs”) you might ever have. There are tons of different roles at Publix which means there’s something for everyone! You get to be a part of making Publix a clean, organized, and friendly environment where people can get all the essentials.

Pay: $19/hr (OB), $18.55/hr (GS)

Culver’s
You’re missing out if you’ve never had a double deluxe bacon burger with cheese curds on the side and a custard concrete to wash it down. Truly a Kaleo classic, Culver’s is an incredible place to work with many different roles offered! (Two locations)

Waffle House
An iconic, fast-paced, open-kitchen styled restaurant that’s a staple all over the south. Whether you’re working the grill, serving tables, or assembling plates, Waffle House is always a favorite that is sure to provide you with plenty of memories — and hopefully a few waffles! (Two locations)
Positions: Server, Greeter, Grill Operator, Expo
Pay: Grill Operator ($18/hr), Greeter ($16/hr), Server ($4.75/hr + tips)

Expect Excellence
Your job is literally to play soccer, dodgeball, kickball, and more with kids. Some days you’re in the pool, some days you’re on a slip n’ slide, but whatever you’re doing, you’ll love this opportunity to engage with kids where you get to be like a big brother or sister for the summer!

Surf Style
A modern surf/souvenir shop known for their apparel and sunglasses — think iridescent windbreakers and pit vipers. At Surf Style, you’ll be working across from the beach and making sure people have everything they need to catch some sun and waves!

The Hangout
A restaurant on the beach with great food and a famous music festival? Sign me up. The Hangout has all the vibes you could want… getting paid to run food, host, or work retail while you’re watching waves crash on the sand and listening to music sounds pretty nice!

Sunliner Diner
Like stepping back in time to a 1950’s diner! You’ll get to relive the good ol’ days while you hear the jukebox rocking and serve delicious food all day long. Oh, and did we mention they’re famous for their milkshakes?! (Two locations)

Chick-fil-A
Serving up waffle fries and chicken sandwiches in an environment that is as fast-paced as it is fun and friendly. At Chick-Fil-A, the time flies as you work alongside a team eager to provide for the many hungry customers! Working here will have you saying, “my pleasure!” all summer long.

Foosackly’s
Think Cane’s or Zaxby’s… but maybe better? House-made sauces, tenders, fries, and toast— what more do you need! Foosackly’s is an Alabama favorite known for great deals and amazing chicken. They’re looking for kitchen and serving roles!

Pay: $15/hr

Cracker Barrel
Good ol’ fashion bacon, eggs, biscuits, and coffee! No matter what job you have at Cracker Barrel, you will love the cozy cabin vibes that feels like you’re eating breakfast at grandma’s house! Pro tip: the golf-tee in the wood holes game they have set out on tables is pretty fun too.

GS Beach Supply / Souvenir City (OB)
Working at a souvenir shop in a beach town is about as beach-y as it gets! So much so that there are multiple locations. This Souvenir City is under different ownership and you'd be working in Orange Beach or at the Gulf Shores Beach Supply store! Either way, we know you'll have a great time helping all of the tourists find what they're looking for.
Positions: Retail Associate
Pay: $16/hr
